我在南疆乡村当公务员，工作一年后买了辆力帆k19摩托车，还把车把加高了25cm，加了个小靠背。每天骑着这摩托上下班，居然没人有意见。以前的领导看到我就问了排量和价格，还嘱咐注意安全。维族同事见到我就喊“哈雷！”我解释说，是国产摩托车改造的哈雷样式，排量多25cc，价钱也不高。有时我去附近村子，5-25公里远。电动车不够，汽车又贵，摩托刚好（其实我更喜欢搭领导车，舒服）。三年后，因考核好被提前晋升，骑摩托没影响。反而，办公室常叫我办事，似乎觉得我快。幸好我摩托150排量，省油，跑腿挺合适。印象深的是，有次我去邻村拿快递，摩托不好带箱子。维族同事走过来，普通话很好说，提出帮我搬东西。我奇怪，他解释：“虽不熟，但认识你摩托。我和你是XX镇的，帮忙不用客气。”我才意识到，南疆乡村，我那冒充大哈雷的摩托车已挺有名。
